�Concise and brief� is how my dictionary defines a �thumbnail�. This section of the site complements the more comprehensive �Ground Guide� elsewhere on the site.
Being based on the South Coast and with commitments to my own club, I obviously cannot get to as many grounds as I would like ... I although I don�t do too badly.
To make this site as inclusive as possible, and to offer a good geographical spread I am really dependent on other Non League fans submitting photographs of grounds they have visited. Grounds in the North would be especially welcome, preferably those that haven�t already been included on the site, although if you have some really good pics ...
I have recently included quite a few of my own pics in this section, along with a brief commentary on the ground, and some history where appropriate. This was done more out of expediency than anything else, but these entries work quite well and fall somewhere between those in the more formal �Guide� and those pics-only entries kindly submitted by other contributors. I have a policy of only writing about grounds that I have actually visited myself, although there are a couple where Nick Mattlock has kindly added his own unique touch. Although directions are not included, post codes are; and those clubs with websites usually include directions in any case.
In the past have found www.streetmap.co.uk very good for navigating my way to grounds ... at least if you don�t have satellite navigation yet!
Photographs that show off the facilities ie. stands, terraces etc. are featured here; whilst more general pics, usually with a match going on in the background, are featured in the �Snapsnots� section of the site. Equally, pics of signs, floodlights etc. are all welcome for inclusion in other sections.
Full size high resolution digital pics that can be cropped if necessary, are preferred of course. I can also accept zipped files. Prints for scanning are also acceptable. If sending the latter, please include your name (for copyright purposes) and a return address if you would like them back. You will retain the copyright for all photographs, which will be watermarked and credited to you.
