All of the photographs on this site are subject to copyright naturally. However, I have no objection to small numbers of these being reproduced for the purposes of club websites, programmes and of course, reviews of the site in the media. All I ask in return is a clear acknowledgement of the site (including the URL/link) and the photographer where appropriate. I would also appreciate a copy of the the article being either emailed or posted to the address below. Wholesale unauthorised copying for individual (and particularly commercial) websites however will constitute breach of copyright.
If in doubt, please email me - even if youve already done it! Reasonable requests will always be granted ... but dont take the p*!* Its not very nice!
Many of the photographs presented here - the programme covers for example - are in thumbnail/slideshow format. Click on any thumbnail image, and you will be taken to a larger version of that image, and a slideshow of the others in that Gallery. This format saves on webspace and ensures that the images open reasonably quickly. The downside however, is that quality is lost due to the photographs being compressed.
However, the thumbnails in the Ground Guide section site are linked to larger, better quality images. These have been watermarked but if you would like to use any of these without the watermark, please contact me. As stated above, reasonable requests will usually be granted, as long as the conditions of publication are accepted.
Inevitably there will be variations in the speed at which photographs open in different browsers and at different bandwidths. If you have broadband then this should be reasonably quick. I have reduced the size of pictures to facilitate faster opening. However, I have not compressed them as I wanted to maintain a decent quality ... after all, whats the point of struggling to get a decent picture on good equipment only to louse it up afterwards. Anyway, apologies for any long waits but I hope youll agree that its worth it.
To test how quick your system is, click on each of the two thumbnails below. Both photographs were taken at the epic Lewes vs Weymouth FA Trophy tie at The Dripping Pan during the 2003/04 season, which Weymouth won 8-5.

High quality colour reproductions of virtually all of the photographs may be purchased at a very reasonable cost, on either glossy or matt premium photographic paper. Prices will vary according to requirements and individual postage. Please note however, that the higher the resolution, the smaller the image.
High resolution (200 pixels per inch) photographs are available and size will depend on whether I used the 8 megapixel set-up or the older 3.4 megapixel camera.
If you are interested in purchasing any photographs, please email or write to me with your equirements, for a quotation.
For the technically minded (and Im not incidentally), I currently use an Olympus C-8080 eight mega-pixel digital camera (much larger repros available for pics taken with this), although the older pics were taken with Camedia C-740 Ultra Zoom camera. Paint Shop Pro 6 is used for photographic editing - perhaps one day Ill teach myself how to use Photoshop ... and buy myself a digital SLR.
