Statistics

Football Club History Database
Excellent and invaluable site from Richard Rundle. The Football Club History Database ("fchd") is an attempt to give a brief statistical breakdown of the history of football clubs in England & Wales. Each club has a seperate page within the site, showing year-by-year League performances, accompanied by as full as possible listings of results in major cup competitions. No bias is shown towards "big clubs" - village sides and long-forgotten names of the past are given equal coverage.

RSSSF - The Rec. Sport Soccer Statistics Foundation
An absolutely mind-boggling site that states its major goal as collecting all kind of statistics, in particular league tables from all over the world, on football, and making this information available to those sharing our interest. So, if you want to know who scored for Iraq in their 2-0 win over Palestine in a 2002 West Asian Championship tie on 3 September, you know where to look ... it was Ali Wahaib Shinayen (47), and Razzaq Farhan (69). Go on, you were dying to know werent you?
