Update (January 2007)
The last game at Mason’s Road was to have been played on 29 April 2006, after Stratford Council had earlier sold it for industrial development. However, this has been delayed until early 2007 after which Town will be based at Studley’s Abbeyfield Drive ground. Work on levelling and preparing a new pitch for a Southern League standard ground at Knights Lane, Tiddington has begun and the new ground will also include pitches and training facilities for community use.


I originally popped into Masons Road when ostensibly on a ‘cultural’ visit to see Richard III with the family at Stratford, and wrote about it on my Nomad-Online site ... along with other grounds visited along the way. Nothing more to add to those original comments really. DB
