Note What these photographs don’t show is the enormous boot fair that was in full swing when I visited Rivers Park in August 2005. Cover is provided by a pretty basic corrugated iron & timber shelter, with a few garden chairs inside. This is raised on a shallow bank behend a couple of quite smart breezeblock dugouts. The clubhouse and dressing rooms are on the opposite side of the pitch and, having looked at photographs on the club’s website, are better on the inside than they look on the outside. The pitch has a post and rope barrier. DB |
