Note The West End Ground was purchased and converted from farm land around 1960, after the club had earlier played on a recreation ground close by. The pitch was turned 45 degrees and in the early 1970s the first small stand was built. This was replaced in the 1990s with new structures on both touchlines. The clubhouse was opened in 1981 whilst the most recent addition to this pleasant rural venue were floodlights. These were first used on 19 April 1991 when Potton United were the visitors, but officially inaugurated in November 1992 when Town entertained a Norwich City side in front of the ground’s record attendance: 538.
