Sporting Bengal United v Slade Green, Kent Premier League, 8 December 2004, Mile End Stadium, Score 0-1, Attendance 41.
A very poor game more notable for the amount of police sirens and blue flashing lights constantly tearing up and down the Mile End Road. With fireworks and firecrackers going off constantly in the near distance it was like watching a match in downtown Fallujah (that’s Canary Wharf in the distance). No hot food served, or Bovril. There is no club house, and no pubs in the area. However, every other shop is a kebab shop! NM
