The first trophy of the season for Sussex, between the previous season’s League champions Horsham YMCA (newly promoted to the Isthmian League), and League Cup winners Shoreham, in blue. A low key affair to say the least - ‘YM’ even forgot to bring the trophy they had won twelve months earlier - it was settled by a Richard Carter penalty for the Musselmen near the end of the first half (see bottom photograph) DB.
