Snapshots - Little Common FC

Little Common vs Rustington. Sussex County League Division 3, 4 February 2006, Peartree Lane Recreation Ground. Score 0-4. Attendance 32.
Little Common, back in the SCFL after a ten year absence took on last season’s newcomers Rustington in this Division Three fixture. Having won three trophies in 2004/05 Rustington started the season as title favourites in the eyes of many but had been rather inconsistent to date. Not on this occasion though, although it has to be said that a diabolical start by the East Sussex side saw them three goals down to their West Sussex rivals inside fifteen minutes. Little Common (in sky & claret) rallied afterwards but an own goal on 75 minutes completed their misery.  DB.
