Eastbourne Borough fans celebrate - August Bank Holiday Monday 2003                                Photograph by Sam Hicks

Snapshots - Bognor Regis Town FC

Bognor Regis Town vs Eastbourne Borough. Nationwide Conference South, 29 January 2005, Nyewood Lane. Score 1-0. Attendance 426.
Supposedly a Sussex ‘local derby’, although Havant & Waterlooville (Hants) is much closer to Bognor than Eastbourne. The Rocks (white/green) scored what turned out to be the only goal of the game after just two minutes - a fact that us Borough supporters were reminded of for the remaining 88 minutes, courtesy of a smart new electronic scoreboard! The range of thoroughly unhealthy (yet totally desirable) food on offer at Nyewood Lane is astonishing, not to mention the massive wedges of bread pudding. One suspects that the incidence of atherosclerosis amongst Bognor fans is far higher than the national average! DB.
