Ball Lane Recreation Ground is very much a village Rec with a perimeter fence, which serves no purpose other than ground grading. Parking is limited, best use the large car park in the pub on Ball Lane. My favourite memory of Pewsey was a rather stout forward being dubiously called off-side and the chaps standing next to me berating the linesman “’e was never orf side – that wor just iz beer belly” “Aye, line-o – yew carn’t do ‘im fer iz pies”! |
