Note Formed as a village side in the early 1900s, the club was at one time called Northam Star FC, the brickyards team at Eye. The name was changed to Eye United FC, with the club moving from its Crowland Road ground in the late 1960s to Lindisfarne Road, before moving to it’s present home of Chestnut Avenue. The name was changed once again in 2005.
There are three pitches, all of which have dugouts. The dugouts on the main pitch however, must surely be the largest in Non League football, if not anywhere and really have to be seen to be believed! There is a rather basic area of covered standing on the opposite side of the pitch, towards the clubhouse. DB
