Note Part of a local community development, Northfield Town’s facilities are shared with other sports, with two other football pitches (one with dugouts) and a cricket field also on the site. With housing all along one side of the main pitch, constraints on further development including floodlights have hampered the club’s progression somewhat. However, the community centre behind the near goal provides good facilities and cover for spectators at that end, with seating provided on benches. A further area of low cover (with unusual angled supports) is provided along one touchline, between the dugouts, as the pitch slopes away laterally. DB
