Grove Way, Newton Flotman, Norfolk
Anglian Combination

Note Newton Flotman village lies south of Norwich, just off the A140 and, like many Anglian Combination grounds is quite attractive and well appointed for its level in the Pyramid. As you can see it was dusk when I visited on my way home from an East Anglian tour but I found the ground easily enough at the end of Grove Way, which opens out into a clearing. Everything is neatly painted in the club colours and there are two small areas of cover for spectators on the far side, one of which is an overhang to a hut presumably used for storage. The other brick-built cover thoughtfully has a ‘window’ cut into its side, allowing the occupants a sideways view over the top of the adjacent dugouts. DB
