Note Aptly described by Colin Peel & Mick Blakeman in their “Staffs & Shrops” Guide as ... a gem that we can be proud to have in English football. How nice to see a relatively modern grandstand (unusual for this level of the Pyramid) constructed in a traditional style. The pitch is partially bordered by grass banking which affords an excellent vantage point on a fine day when one doesn’t have to seek shelter in the stand even if I would recommend the latter for at least one half in any case!
