The Winter 2004 issue of ‘Groundtastic’ ran a feature on Millhead FC, who play on the site of an old quarry. The ground is known locally as “Iodine Park” and is due to the large number of cuts and bruises suffered from players from bits of flint and stone in the 1950s and 1960s. |
