Note Below are a series of photographs, taken by Bob Lilliman in 1975-76 and by Vince Taylor of Groundtastic magazine in 2003. The Summer 2003 issue of the magazine (GT33) included an extensive feature on Hartsdown Park prior to its virtual demolition. At the time Vince wrote: “A busy summer is ... in store as the contractors strive to get the stadium finished by August 2003”. How little did we know what was in store for the club then!
I am really grateful to Vince and Bob for allowing me to use their photographs; for their continued support of the PP site; and most of all, for their dedication to Non League football grounds. Their contribution is invaluable. DB
