Note Like a number of grounds in the suburbs of Birmingham, this is a surprisingly rural setting for a ground within a couple of minutes from the M42. All of the facilities at Hampton Road are on the far touchline. Both the white-painted clubhouse and changing room building has an overhang, with a number of pale blue and yellow plastic seats beneath the former. As the current colours are red & black this presumably reflects the club colours at the time the seats were installed ... or what was available at the time! At the far end is a further very rudimentary cover constructed from corrugated iron and scaffolding poles. The dugouts are on the opposite touchline. DB |
