Note One of the most westerly clubs featured on the site, I made a special visit to Viaduct Hill to capture the Heath Robinsonesque dugouts photographed by Colin Peel (below) for inclusion in the ‘Dugouts’ book. Sadly they had been superseded by rather ordinary concrete replacements, standing on either side of a typically bland modern ‘flat pack’ stand. There is however, a very impressive clubhouse building behind the near goal. DB |
