Note Even by Norfolk standards, the village of Halvergate is a bit out of the way and is reached by a long narrow road off the A47 to Great Yarmouth. It was a bit of a detour en route to a more famous Non League venue and I should have known better than to make the journey during the cricket season. The latter was very much in residence with no sign of any football facilities although since they play in the Premier Division of the Anglian Combination I would be surprised if there weren’t at least dugouts. If anyone can provide me with any pictures taken during the footie season they will be gratefully received. DB |
