Note The Lincoln Road site was originally purchased in 1920 by the Rutland Engineering Works, who laid it out to provide for two football pitches and a cricket square. However, it was some considerable time before facilities of any real significance were developed. A new clubhouse was built in 1965 and the old cricket pavilion was removed. In its place was built the wooden and steel stand dating from the late 70s / early 80s. This coincided with the demise of cricket on the site and sale of land behind the far goal for housing. This also meant the loss of the second football pitch but provided an opportunity to enclose the ground.

The clubhouse, which stands behind the near goal, was extended in 1984. That year also saw the club join the United Counties League, as Mirrlees Blackstone, although this was subequently changed in 1998 when the parent company pulled out of the town. Trees on either side of the ground make Lincoln Road a very pleasant site, with a couple of smart dugouts opposite the stand on the far side. Floodlights were erected in 1989, along with a perimeter fence and other sundry buildings. DB
